Matthew has over 20 years shooting experience and really enjoys the sport for all its technical and mental challenges. He originally started his shooting journey using air rifles, smallbore rifles and centre fire rifles in his home county of Northumberland. He still tries to be out in the field, deer stalking and wood pigeon shooting for crop protection whenever work commitments allow. Matthew moved to Kent in 2010 and joined a local shooting club to meet and socialise with fellow shooters in the area. This is where Matthew developed a passion for competitive clay target shooting, primarily in the disciplines of English Sporting and English Skeet. It wasn’t until he became an officer of the club and started instructing new and improving member shooters that he realised how much he enjoyed helping individuals to improve their own technique and assisting them to achieve their personal shooting goals.
From his background in the architectural design world communicating with a broad spectrum of clients, Matthew takes the same approach with his shooting instruction.
Matthew prides himself on his clients having “FUN” whilst learning to shoot better.
Matthew is a CPSA Level 1 Instructor and is also qualified as a CPSA Safety Officer and CPSA referee in English Sporting, Super Sporting and English Skeet.
